A destructive tornado passed through South Dakota's Watertown on Sunday, with striking videos circulating online showing the huge funnel cloud spinning ominously near roadways beneath turbulent skies and powerful winds.

Watch:
A house northwest of Henry, South Dakota, seemed to have received major damage from the storm, as photographed and shared on social media. Storm tracker Tanner Charles, who was in the area, reported doing a search and rescue mission but finding no one at the house.
"Praying that they just weren't home at the time," he posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether anyone was at the house when the tornado struck.
