Donald Trump’s address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday included plenty of serious talking points. But a day on, a totally unexpected talking point went viral on social media.

However, we can confirm that the United States President did not make any such assertion as he addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday. The trending news is a satire with no facts to back it up.

Social Media Rumor Through Account Named WKM TV

Records indicate that the rumor initially went round with an account by the name WKM TV, which posted the news, probably satirical, that Trump stopped mid-speech and declared, “It burns when I pee.” The post was done on Instagram late on Tuesday after Trump had completed giving his speech.

The fake news went viral, which stated, “Donald Trump briskly resumed his prepared comments on tariffs and global collaboration as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred. Reporters subsequently questioned whether the remark was a joke or a medical confession, but Trump’s representatives refused to comment, stating only that the statement was “taken out of context.”

“A UN translator, who wished to remain anonymous, described how the sentence had been read out in more than 30 languages before officials caught on that it was not in the official transcript. Twitter exploded within minutes as the hashtag #BurnsWhenIPee went viral across the globe.”

It has since become a viral sensation on social media, receiving more than 85,000 likes and millions of views. It soon cascaded on social media platforms, and similar content was being posted on X.

Donald Trump’s Special Focus on National Security and Sovereignty

Donald Trump’s speech at the UN was mostly about national security and sovereignty. Trump complained against international institutions that he believed served to undermine American interests and reiterated that every country should put its own citizens first. Trump also made strong border policies a central theme, consistent with his overall immigration policy, and issued warnings about dangers from so-called “rogue states.

He spent considerable time on economic topics, promoting US growth while in office and calling for equitable trade practices. Trump bade allies to hike defense budgets and decrease dependency on rival countries. His rhetoric included aggressive threats side by side with calls for cooperation, projecting the US as a world leader and a nation committed to defending its sovereignty.
