Ghislaine Maxwell has contradicted Elon Musk’s denial of knowing her, claiming she met him at a Sergey Brin birthday celebration in the Caribbean.

Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison sentence, has thrown shade at Elon Musk’s repeated denials of knowing her. According to newly released Department of Justice transcripts, Maxwell insists she met the Tesla and SpaceX CEO at a lavish multi-day birthday celebration for Google co-founder Sergey Brin in the Caribbean, casting doubt on Musk’s long-standing claim that she merely “photobombed” him.

The testimony came during July interviews conducted by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, with documents only surfacing this Friday.

The Caribbean Connection

Maxwell recounted that she first encountered Musk at Brin’s exclusive gathering sometime around 2010 or 2011. The party, attended by “30 to 50 people,” reportedly lasted three or four days. “Mr. Musk was present for that,” Maxwell stated firmly.

This revelation complicates Musk’s prior statements, including a 2020 post on X (formerly Twitter), where he dismissed Maxwell as a stranger: “Don’t know Ghislaine at all. She photobombed me once at a Vanity Fair party.”

Hollywood Ties and Oscars Sightings

Maxwell also revealed that she later saw Musk at an Oscars-related event—possibly the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscars party, where both were photographed. The resurfacing of these details raises questions about just how many times the two might have crossed paths, despite Musk’s insistence otherwise.

Adding fuel to the fire, Maxwell suggested that Musk’s brother, Kimbal Musk, may have also had indirect ties to Epstein. She claimed Epstein once arranged a relationship for Kimbal, aligning with a 2020 Business Insider report about Epstein introducing him to a woman.

Epstein, Brin, and the Billionaire Web

The newly unsealed testimony highlights how Epstein’s shadow still lingers over the upper echelons of Silicon Valley. According to The Wall Street Journal, Epstein was even advising Sergey Brin as early as 2007 on setting up a tax-saving trust for his children.

Musk himself has been entangled in Brin-related drama before. In 2022, rumors swirled that he had an affair with Brin’s ex-wife, Nicole Shanahan—allegations Musk strongly denied. The billionaire's already tumultuous personal and professional tales were further complicated by reports that Brin severed business relations with Musk after the alleged tryst.

Musk’s Public Denials Under Fire

For years, Musk has attempted to distance himself from Epstein’s circle. His social media posts have consistently painted Maxwell as little more than an unwanted party guest. Yet, Maxwell’s sworn statements place him squarely in Epstein’s wider orbit, at least socially.

The contradiction between Musk’s public narrative and Maxwell’s testimony could reignite public debate about just how closely the world’s richest man was linked to the Epstein network. While no evidence currently suggests Musk was involved in criminal activity, the optics alone could prove damaging, especially given his massive influence across tech, finance, and even geopolitics.

With the DOJ’s transcripts now in the public eye, questions remain: Was Musk simply another guest at Brin’s party, or was his association with Maxwell deeper than he claims? Maxwell's own criminal past certainly casts doubt on her credibility, but her remarks are important enough to support speculation.

For Musk, who thrives on controversy yet fiercely guards his reputation, the resurfacing of these claims could mean renewed media scrutiny and online firestorms.
