Erika Kirk, wife of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, spoke publicly for the first time on Sunday after his assassination in Utah. Overcome with emotion, she described her late husband as a loving family man, a devoted Christian, and a fearless patriot.
"Charlie loved life, he loved his life...he loved America, he loved nature, which helped him bring him closer to God..., but most of all Charlie loved his children, and he loved me with all of his heart...," Erika said in her moving tribute.
She went on to describe Charlie as the “perfect father and husband,” adding that his faith and values shaped every part of his life.

"Mr President, my husband loved you, and he knew that you loved him too...your friendship is amazing," she said.
Speaking about her husband’s violent death, Erika said she found comfort in her belief that Charlie was now with God.
She said, "Charlie is now with his Savior and his God, and he will be wearing the glorious crown of a martyr."
She also recalled one of his dreams if he had ever entered politics: "Reviving the American family."
Erika Kirk delivered a strong statement aimed at those behind her husband’s killing. She referred to them as “evildoers” and warned that his mission would grow stronger.
"They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and God's merciful love. They should all know this: If you thought that my husband's mission was powerful before, you have no idea," she declared.

She promised to carry forward his legacy. “The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry. To everyone listening across America... no one will ever forget my husband's name, and I will make sure that.”
Her remarks came just hours after authorities arrested Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk. Officials said Robinson likely acted alone, with his actions fueled by “hate” for Kirk’s views and influence.
Robinson now faces charges including aggravated murder and firearm offenses.
Charlie Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University (UVU). He was responding to a question on transgender mass shooters when a sniper fired, striking him mid-speech.
Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was widely known for his strong conservative views on issues like abortion, gun rights, and race. His killing has been called a political assassination and has drawn national outrage.
