Charlie Kirk’s Wednesday death has been shocking, to put it mildly. The 31-year-old conservative commentator was shot and killed at a function held at Utah Valley College, in front of thousands of onlookers, in what the Governor of Utah called a “political assassination.”
The shock value of the attack, which took place in daylight, in broad daylight, in front of an openmouthed crowd, was caught on camera. The precise moment Charlie Krik was assassinated was filmed and live-streamed on social media making it one of the most high-profile killings in recent history.

Kirk’s Death: A Turning Point For USA
The manner in which Kirk dies in the video has raised questions regarding the circumstances of his death. Even though the authorities have not yet published the autopsy report of Kirk’s death, which would obviously disclose the time of his death, a lot of curiosity on whether the founder of Turning Point USA died immediately when he was shot was felt on social media.
Why Internet Thinks Charlie Kirk Died ‘Instantly’
In the disturbing video, Kirk is seen answering a question about gun violence when a bullet whizzes by and strikes him on the neck. Blood gushes out, he closes his eyes, and collapses from his seat, with the impression that he immediately died. He was rushed to a hospital prior to President Donald Trump making a statement on Truth Social stating Charlie Kirk was dead.
“I just saw a graphic angle of Charlie Kirk. Yeah I’m 100% certain he died instantly. What in the actual f***,” one user said.
“Charlie Kirk died almost instantly based on his reaction from the shot. The bullet hit a jugular vein & it also looked like there was a spinal sever of some sorts. The video was not AI, that’s just how it looks,” said another.

Who is Charlie Kirk?
Kirk, an Arizona native, was a close friend of Donald Trump, and his ascension has been continuous with that of Trump. Kirk initially broke into the conservative ranks with his visit to the 2016 Republican National Convention, where Trump was nominated as a candidate. Trump has referred to him as a beacon of the conservative movement, particularly among the youth.
When he died, Trump penned: “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.”
“He was loved and adored by ALL, particularly me, and now, he is gone. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his gorgeous wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”
