Trump’s Hush Money Trial: Allegations of Infidelity with Stormy Daniels

Recent text message disclosures between Michael Cohen and Keith Davidson concerning the hush money lawsuit have sparked questions about whether Donald Trump was unfaithful to his wife, Melania Trump.

To obscure the details related to Stormy Daniels, Trump attended the trial where the prosecution highlighted Karen McDougal, another Playboy model, who they alleged had an affair. Trump is facing approximately 34 criminal charges for falsifying company records.

Prosecutors alleged that a $130,000 wire transfer from Cohen to Davidson for Stormy Daniels’ flight was intended to benefit the president. They contend that Trump illicitly reimbursed Cohen and falsely classified it as a legitimate expense.

Prosecutors asserted that Trump attempted to silence Daniels to protect the integrity of his presidential campaign.

Davidson collaborated with Michael Cohen, former lawyer for Donald Trump, and Dylan Howard, editor of the National Enquirer, to promote their narratives.

In a string of texts that the prosecution produced, Davidson told Howard that he had “a blockbuster Trump story.” With a suggestion that “you know why,” Howard declared his desire to pay Davidson “more than ANYONE for it.”
It might be “the final nail in the coffin” for Trump’s campaign, according to Davidson.
Howard persisted, “Did [Trump] cheat on Melania?” a few days later. Davidson first said, “I really can’t say yet,” in response.

Even though Davidson acknowledged being aware of the specifics, he “was not prepared to discuss the details at this point.” “Trump is a f***er,” Howard replied, adding, “Wave the white flag.” People, it’s over.

Davidson testified about a meeting he, Howard, and McDougal had, during which McDougal purportedly detailed her alleged affair with Trump so that Howard could present a proposal.

“Connecting you both regarding that business opportunity,” written by Howard. “Spoke to the client this AM and they’re confirmed to proceed with the opportunity. Thanks. Dylan.”

By July 22, 2016, Davidson was urging Howard to involve Trump’s then-fixer, Michael Cohen, in the negotiations. Following the finalization of the McDougal story contract, Davidson and Cohen talked about Stormy Daniels’ story due to the uproar surrounding the Access Hollywood tape.

By October 2017, Davidson and Cohen had come to an understanding, despite Cohen’s persistent payment delays, which Davidson believed were an attempt to “kick the can” until the election.

At some point, Cohen declared, “I’ll just do it myself,” but Davidson “assumed” that Trump was the one who was funding it.

These events took place at a time when Melania was noticeably missing from public view.

Upon entering the courtroom, Trump acknowledged his wife’s birthday, “It would be nice to be with her, but I’m in a courthouse for a rigged trial.”
