Trump’s Christmas Blitz: 34 Posts In An Hour, Memes, Festive Cheer, And Political Jabs

Donald Trump’s Christmas Day was not all silent as President-elect put out 34 posts within one hour; he covered holiday greetings, memes, and political opinions. Ranging from being festive with holiday wishes to taking swipes at opponents, Trump soon turned a quiet Christmas day into activity.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year, to all. ” But his holiday cheer took a provocative turn when he shared a meme aimed at former President Barack Obama.

The meme had Trump smirk at Obama at the latter’s 2017 inauguration, with the caption “When you see the guy who said ‘you’ll never be president’ at your inauguration.” Along that, Trump had posted the picture of him and Melania, in which she dressed in a white gown captioned “Merry Christmas 2024”.

He shared articles pushing his views and allies to his followers, such as a Wall Street Journal opinion piece titled “Kash Patel is right for the FBI” and a report from Daily Signal in defense of Pete Hegseth for defense secretary. As Christmas Day unfolded, such posts only indicated his endless political agenda.

Melania Trump also shared a Christmas message, with a more subdued post showing a golden star against a red background, simply captioned “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”

While Trump himself was restrained in his attacks against President Joe Biden or Special Counsel Jack Smith this year, family members participated in the holiday posts. For example, Donald Trump Jr. shared an AI-generated meme of his father as Father Christmas, making a mockery of immigration policies. Other GOP figures, including Senator Tommy Tuberville and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, also weighed in with their own holiday messages.

Trump’s Christmas Day activity was both praised and criticized, as his social media presence remains a powerful platform for his political agenda.
