SOME PARTIES ARE CONSPIRING TO OVERTHROW GOVERNMENT: HASINA

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that some political parties, backed by the BNP-Jamaat alliance, are conspiring to overthrow the Awami League government. She said this on Wenesday while addressing a raly. Hasina said that these political parties want to bring the people of the country back to the age of darkness and misery. She asked why they wanted to overthrow the government. In fact, they want to deprive the people from all the opportunities that this government is giving them. Is this their real purpose? 

   The PM said this while addressing a week-long function organised at Krishibid Institute auditorium on 50th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Krishak League from Ganobhaban on Wenesday. The head of government said that some political leaders of Bangladesh never stand by the people in any critical moment of the country. Instead of standing by the people, they are too busy building a movement to overthrow the government. Manna, Dr Kamal Hossain, the Communist Party and the Left parties have now joined hands with the BNP-Jamaat alliance to form a movement to oust the Awami League government. Hasina questioned, what is the fault of Awami League government that they want to overthrow the government?
