48 Dead In Russian Plane Crash, Criminal Case Filed
The crash is reported to have taken the lives of 42 passengers, including five children, and six crew members. According to Reuters, a criminal case has been filed for the suspected violation of air traffic and air transport rules. Reportedly, the plane involved in the crash had passed a recent safety check and was involved in four minor incidents since 2018.
The transport prosecutor’s office has revealed that a second landing was attempted near the Tynda airport before the plane lost communication.
