MOSCOW, Oct 6 (Reuters) – The Russian Defence Ministry said on Monday that its forces had struck Ukrainian energy infrastructure and oil industry facilities, as well as storage and launch sites for long-range Ukrainian drones. It said in a statement that the strikes had been carried out by the Russian Air Force, drones, artillery and missiles and that it had hit fuel storage facilities supporting the Ukrainian military along with temporary deployment locations for Ukrainian forces in 145 different areas. Reuters could not verify the battlefield report. (Reporting by Andrew Osborn Editing by Guy Faulconbridge)
