MOSCOW, Oct 13 (Reuters) – The Russian Black Sea Fleet has denied that the diesel submarine 'Novorossiysk' had to make an emergency surfacing off the coast of France due to a malfunction, the Interfax news agency reported on Monday. The submarine is carrying out a scheduled transit after completing tasks in the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea Fleet press-service said, according to Interfax. On October 9, NATO Maritime Command said on its account in X that a Russian submarine operated off the coast of Brittany. (Reporting by Reuters; Editing by Gleb Bryanski)
