Nevertheless, he posted nine points and six rebounds. Edwards appeared in 40 games for the Mavericks last season, including 18 starts. He recorded 4.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting a career-high 40.7 percent from 3-point range. Like Brown, Edwards only logged eight total preseason minutes.
