The shocking CCTV footage of the Pakistani Air Force in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is circulating online, where the Pakistani Air Force had dropped 8 bombs on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Matre Dara village, in which at least 30 civilians lost their lives and 20 people were injured, including a huge number of women and children, on Monday, 22 September 2025.

Midnight Strike in Matre Dara Village, Pakistan

The atrocity was committed around 2 am when the Pakistani fighter aircraft released eight LS-6 bombs at the Matre Dara village of the Tirah Valley, resulting in a massive massacre. All victims were civilians.

LS-6 Bomb Dropped With No Warning

The eight LS-6 precision-guided bombs descended on the village with no warning. Whole homes were eradicated while families slept, and the attack has left a trail of blood, rubble, and horror. Local Pakistani media reported that several people have also been injured, though their condition is not certain.

Images and videos of the site of the incident revealed bodies, including those of children, scattered everywhere. Rescue agents were busy searching for bodies trapped under rubble, with concerns of the death toll increasing further.

Numerous counter-terrorism missions have previously been conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with numerous civilian fatalities being reported from there. In June this year, Amnesty International stated that repeated drone attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa indicate a shocking disregard for civilian life in Pakistan.

No More Further Steps by Pakistani Authorities

"Pakistani authorities have not taken any steps to safeguard the lives of civilians in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who are still bearing the brunt of the heightened number of drone attacks in the province recently. Friday's drone attack, which killed one child, is only the latest in an alarming series of attacks, which have risen sharply since March of this year," Isabelle Lassee, Deputy Regional Director for South Asia at Amnesty International, stated.

Authority Reports 2025: 605 Attacks From January to August

As per Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, 605 terror attacks have been reported by the province from January to August this year, during which at least 138 civilians and 79 Pakistani policemen were killed. August itself witnessed 129 attacks, six of which involved the killing of Pakistan Army and paramilitary Federal Constabulary troops.

Following Operation Sindoor, which hit and reduced to rubble nine key terrorist hideouts throughout Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), terrorist groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) are setting up new bases deep within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, close to the Afghan border.
