Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that Israel does not intend to annex Gaza and that the ongoing war can end immediately provided Hamas agrees to disarm. In an exclusive interview with CNN-News18, Netanyahu outlined Israel’s firm position on the conflict. He stressed that Israel’s top priorities include neutralizing Hamas, securing the release of hostages, and protecting innocent lives. Netanyahu also acknowledged India’s role in regional security and called for cooperation with both India and the United States to find common ground.

Israel Rejects Gaza Annexation Plan

Netanyahu clearly stated that Israel has no intention of taking over Gaza. He announced that Israel will build a security perimeter around Gaza to prevent future threats. This move aims to safeguard Israeli citizens without absorbing the territory. He further hinted at a future international arrangement to govern Gaza post-conflict. However, he did not provide specific details on who might lead such governance.
