Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei criticized Israel’s distribution of aid in Gaza as a “cheap form of genocide.” He accused Israel of intentionally resorting to sniping and starvation to besiege desperate Palestinians. Khamenei also accused Western powers of facilitating the policy with military precision. His scathing comments came as international outrage increases over the deepening humanitarian crisis. At least 798 have perished at aid points, and the overall Palestinian death toll now exceeds 57,000.

Simultaneously, Israel refuses to accept a ceasefire until Hamas is disarmed, despite its own casualties from the October 7 attack by Hamas still being fresh. With PM Benjamin Netanyahu under increasing pressure, critics now wonder if aid is indeed weaponized in Gaza, while Western intervention within the delivery process is subjected to close examination.

‘Genocide With Western Precision’

Khamenei blamed Israel for pushing Palestinians to a deadly decision, “either die under the rubble of hunger, or get shot attempting to find a food package.” He labeled this strategy as a “cheap type of genocide,” quantified with “Western precision.”

In his opinion, Palestinians today die from bullets worth dollars, instead of bombs that cost hundreds of thousands. His words arrive as footage and reports of Gaza’s agony keep streaming around the world.

Aid Becomes a Death Trap

The United Nations Office for Human Rights verified that at least 798 individuals have been killed in the vicinity of aid points in Gaza during the last six weeks. Distribution points include those run by the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) and other humanitarian convoys.

GHF contracts private American security and logistics companies to handle deliveries, circumventing UN-coordinated mechanisms. Israel accuses Hamas of using the UN aid networks to hijack supplies. Hamas has denied these allegations.

No Ceasefire Without Disarmament

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted that ceasefire negotiations cannot move forward if Hamas does not disarm. He emphasized that Hamas needs to disarm voluntarily, or Israel will forcibly disarm the movement.

The requirement comes after the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, during which 1,219 were killed and 251 hostages were taken. Of them, 49 remain held, with 27 allegedly killed.

War of Attrition Continues

Yet another Palestinian source charged the Israeli delegation with dragging out negotiations to draw out what they described as a “war of extermination.”

Gaza’s health ministry meanwhile, reports more than 57,882 fatalities, most of them civilians. Aid is now the latest battleground in this killing conflict, as charges fly and misery intensifies.
