Moroccan American rapper French Montana and Sheikha Mahra, Princess of Dubai TMZ has officially confirmed the engagement. The couple has been rumored to be dating since early 2024, before finally solidifying their relationship during Paris Fashion Week in June 2025.
Their engagement comes closely following the wedding of two other high-profile stars, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, further stoking the flames of gossip worldwide regarding early celebrity romances. Montana and Mahra's rendezvous, from mosques to fancy dinners, have been in Dubai, Morocco and Paris, usually under the radar, but with an obvious closeness.
Sheikha Mahra is the child of the United Arab Emirates Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is noted for her philanthropy and horse passion.
Sheikha Mahra has a degree in International Relations from London and balances her royal responsibilities with her personal causes making her a very prominent public figure in the Emirates. Her mother, Zoe Grigorakos, of Greek origins, separated from Sheikh Mohammed many years ago. Beyond her royal stature, Mahra has forged a strong presence that is revered for her charity work and equestrian endeavors.
This engagement is following both partners previous marriages. Sheikha Mahra had previously been married to Sheikh Mana, an Emirati businessman and member of the royal family, with whom she shares one daughter.

Their breakup was brought into the limelight last year when Mahra condemned him for infidelity before officially declaring their divorce on social media. On the other hand, Montana was married to designer Nadeen Kharbouch from 2007 to 2014, and they share a teenage son, Kruz. The couple has not yet spoken about their relationship in public, notwithstanding their vows. The deed already has entered the public space with retired NBA star Paul Pierce giving kudos to Montana for his setting an example in marrying outside the so-called celebrity circle.
