Tel Aviv [Israel], May 27 (ANI): Israeli Air Force on Wednesday announced that the Israel Defence Forces and Shin Bet eliminated Muhammad Uda, who served as the head of the military wing of the terror organization Hamas.
The IAF said that the strikes happened on Tuesday, and was responsible for planning and coordinating attack and raid targets as part of the October 7 offensive.
In a post on X, the IAF said, “In a precise strike in northern Gaza Strip yesterday: IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Muhammad Uda. Uda served as the head of the military wing of the terror organization Hamas in the last two weeks and was appointed to the role following the elimination of Azz al-Din Haddad. In recent years, he served as the head of the intelligence headquarters of the terror organization and, as part of his role, was responsible for planning and coordinating attack and raid targets as part of the October 7 offensive.”
“Uda is considered one of the leaders among the last senior commanders in Hamas who were involved in planning and managing the fighting since October 7, and his elimination is perceived as a significant blow to the organization’s ability to regroup,” it added.
The Israeli Air Force said earlier, “As part of IDF forces’ activity in southern Lebanon, an Air Force aircraft identified an unmanned aerial vehicle in the air that posed a threat to our forces in the area. The unmanned aerial vehicle landed, and a terrorist from the Hezbollah terror organization arrived to collect it. In a rapid closing of the circle, the Air Force struck and eliminated the terrorist.”
The Israeli Air Force said they continue to attack infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
In a post on X, it said, “The Air Force continues to attack infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in southern Lebanon: Terrorists who advanced terror plots against our forces were eliminated, and infrastructure from which they operated to launch rockets was attacked.” (ANI)
