India-France Business Summit will be held in Paris on Tuesday

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will lead the Indian delegation at the India-France Business Summit, which will commemorate the 25th anniversary of India-France friendship, on Tuesday in Paris.
The India-France Business Summit will be co-chaired by Goyal and Olivier Becht, France’s Minister delegate for Foreign Trade, Attractiveness, and French Nationals Abroad. According to an official announcement issued on Sunday, the summit will focus on topics such as establishing a green future, emerging technologies, defense collaboration, and Indo-Pacific cooperation.

The Embassy of India in Paris is organizing the business summit and CEO roundtable in collaboration with Medef, CII, Business France, and IFFCI.
The business conference has attracted over 400 participants who have expressed great interest.
Minister Goyal will also meet with French business executives from various industries and attend a CEO roundtable.
From Tuesday to Thursday, Goyal will be in France and Italy on official business, joined by a delegation of prominent Indian CEOs.

“Goyal, along with French Minister Olivier Becht, will attend a gala dinner event hosted by India’s Ambassador to France and Monaco Jawed Ashraf, which will showcase India’s cultural heritage and soft power and is expected to attract 650+ dignitaries from the French government, the Indian Business Diaspora in France, and members of the French business community. The Minister will also meet with members of the Indian community in Paris,” according to a press statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Later, the minister will proceed to Rome, Italy, where he will meet Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, followed by a networking dinner with government and industry dignitaries.

He will also meet with prominent Italian CEOs in bilateral sessions, followed by a CEOs Interactive Business Session in which 35 CEOs are expected to participate. Following that, a meeting with Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, who will also interact with Indian CEOs, will take place.
This impending visit is intended to bring additional impetus to bilateral relations with India’s important European commercial partners.
