About 6 people have been killed in a tent camp where wedding celebrations were happening after Israeli strike.

Several projectiles exploded near a wedding tent with shrapnel flying into surrounding areas. Many woman and children are feared to be dead due to the strike.

Hazam Qaseem, spokesperson, Hamas, said, “This is a part of Israel’s continued escalation of its war of extermination against civilians.”

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a century-old dispute over land, borders, and self-determination. It centers on the competing claims of two peoples to the same historic territory: the State of Israel, established in 1948, and the Palestinians, seeking an independent state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

In another incident an Israeli soldier killed a seven-month-old Palestinian boy and wounded his parents after opening fire on his family’s vehicle near Hebron.
