Ex-US President Donald Trump Rushed Off Stage After Hearing Gunshots At Rally

Ex-US president Donald Trump was taken off stage after a series of loud shots sounded like gunshots were heard at his campaign rally at Pennsylvania.

As the effect of shots weared off, trump allegedly winced and placed his hand at right ear, that too in such a way, that blood was seen.

Shortly after that, agents arrived at the podium and withdrew the republican candidate from the stage. Showing a gesture of defiance trump displayed a fist to the crowd.

Later, taking to X, the secret service announced, that us ex-president is safe. Afterward, the former president campaign also announced, that he was ‘fine’ and currently, he has taken to medical facility.

Issuing a statement, Trump’s spokesman Steven Cheung said, ‘President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.’

This incident happened following trump taking the stage at his final political campaign rally before Republican National Convention in Milwaukee coming week.

Coming to the rally, chaos and confusion spread, when shots were heard. In the microphone, trump reportedly said ‘Let me get my shoes,’ as security agents raised him back to his feet.

Eventually, Donald Trump was made to sit inside SUV, as he once again displayed his fist.

Reaction Towards This Incident

Later, many US politicians expressed shock over this incident. Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced, he ‘horrified’ by the incident taken place at trump’s rally. He expressed relief, that ex-president was safe & sound.

Reacting to this incident, republican minority leader Mitch McConnell said, ‘Tonight, all Americans are grateful that President Trump appears to be fine after a despicable attack on a peaceful rally. Violence has no place in our politics.’

Currently, Joe Biden has gotten first briefing of this incident at white house. In addition, he was also informed by head of secret service and homeland security secretary.
