Zelenskyy said he’s ready to meet Putin only after securing clear security guarantees, suggesting Switzerland, Austria, or Turkey as venues, with Trump potentially joining in a trilateral meeting.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he is ready to meet the Russian President Vladimir Putin, but only after his country gets a clear guarantee of security measures. He mentioned Switzerland, Turkey, and Austria as possible venues.
"We want to have an understanding of the security guarantees architecture within 7-10 days. And based on that understanding, we aim to hold a trilateral meeting, also with US President Donald Trump," Zelenskyy said.
He further added, "Switzerland, Austria, we agree...For us, Turkey is a NATO country and part of Europe. And we are not opposed."
