The US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announcing a 20-point peace plan towards ending the war in Gaza. An immediate ceasefire, hostage return, release of Palestinian prisoners, dismantling of armed groups in Gaza followed by a transitional government under a Board of Peace, chaired by Trump, to manage the governance and rebuilding.

Who will be part of it?
The Co-operative efforts from regional powers and those of global actors like the U.S., France and the UN would supply the calling cards towards acknowledgment for fighting besides Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. As for putting immediate humanitarian needs and rebuilding infrastructure into work, they would go through neutral organizations such as the Red Crescent.
What are 20 Points in Trump Peace Plan for Gaza?
1. Release of Hostages: All Israeli hostages living or dead, should be returned within three days after Israel agrees to the deal.
2. Prisoner Release: Israel will release 250 life-sentenced prisoners besides 1,700 detainees apprehended since 7 October 2023.
3. Exchange of Remains: Deceased Palestinians will be exchanged for deceased Israelis.
4. Demilitarization of Gaza: In order for the region to cease to pose a menace, all armed factions in Gaza must be dismantled.
5. Immediate Ceasefire: Both the sides will abstain from hostilities from the moment of signing Israeli forces would withdraw in stages.
6. Amnesty for Surrender: Amnesty will be granted to Hamas gunmen who disarm and renounce violence and allow a safe passage for those who wish to exit the Gaza Strip.

7. Increase Humanitarian Assistance: By increasing the number of relief convoys, it is envisaged that such convoys will also be responsible for delivering fuels, electricity, medical services and essential goods.
8. Unhindered Supply Chains: Aid will be funneled through neutralizing agencies like the UN and Red Crescent while the Rafah border crossing will re-open conditions.
9. Temporary Palestinian Governance: A transitional Palestinian will be established for the time being to run the ancillary governing structures with regards to daily administrative tasks.
10. Re-building Oversight: The Palestinian Authority possesses the capability to assume secure control of all reconstruction will be under the jurisdiction of a transitional board.
11. Board of Peace: Governance and reconstruction will be regulated by an international board-chaired by Donald Trump with added global advisers like Tony Blair.
12. Regional Cooperation: Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, France and the U.S. shall be combined to jointly facilitate the plan’s implementation.
13. Global Governance Models: Governance patterns demonstrating evidence of success in the international arena will entice more foreign investment.

14. Strategic Urban Planning: Trump’s team will draft a plan of development based on successful Middle Eastern cities.

16. Special Trade Zone: A newly created trade zone will provide increased access into and within a country while lowering tariffs to stimulate economic activity.
17. Incentives for Investors: Countries investment in the rebuilding of Gaza will be lauded and enjoyed economic benefits.
18. Joint Security Framework: Gaza will be part of a safety model of joint security and backed up by international partners.
19. Entire Disarmament: All weapons within Gaza will be removed and collected under strict supervision.
20. Palestinian Autonomy: Once successful in reforms, Palestinians will take the complete political and security responsibility for their area.
What will be Next?
Israel has opted in on the plan, Hamas’s acceptance is still unclear if adopted, its implementation would radically change Gaza’s future by marrying efforts of relative peace, regional diplomacy and long-term economic development. The world now simply waits for what next.
