Experience ‘Water–the Bliss’: Shikha Setia celebrates the joy of water

Step into the enchanting world of water with “Water–the Bliss,” the second solo exhibition by Artist, Architect & Author Shikha Setia. From March 12th to 16th, 2024, visitors can immerse themselves in the celebration of water at the Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Shikha Setia’s artwork captures the dynamic fluidity of water, its movement, and its presence all around us. With strokes that echo the falling rain and reflections that mimic the serene droplets, her paintings exude joy and appreciation for the element of water.
Setia’s paintings are not merely visual; they evoke a sense of being and contentment, inspired by nature and human emotions in harmony with the elements. Through over 40 paintings displayed, ranging from handy sizes to expansive 5 by 5 feet canvases, visitors will witness the artist’s mastery in oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, and mixed media.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Shikha Setia is also an accomplished author, winning the A3 Foundation Award 2023 for her novel, “Through the Shades.” Her creative endeavors reflect her belief in serendipity, hope, and joy, guiding her curious exploration of life and its wonders.
