Artist Sangeeta Singh honoured with Raja Ravi Varma Chitrakar Samman

In this Chitrakar Samman Sammaroh Sangeeta Singh was honoured with Chitranjali-2023 award for remarkable contribution in the field of Visual Art, for Paintings. Sangeeta Singh is recipient of several awards which include Senior Fellowship from Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 2017 and Junior Fellowship from Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 2007. She was also awarded by Kala Drishti in 2016 and in 2022 she was awarded ‘Kala Gaurav Samman’ from Government of Haryana and Municipal Corporation of Gurugram and Kala Gram. With eleven solo shows and over seventy group participations to her credit, the artist has exhibited widely at national and international level. Keen to share her knowledge and skills with others she also teaches art to young learners and aspiring artists. The artist lives and works in Gurgaon.
Led by the dynamic Vimlesh Brijwall, the NGO has be committed towards the noble cause of the betterment of the society and promoting the concept of sustainable development in various sectors towards bringing positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children,the Sansthan has also been taking up the cause of preserving Indian art, culture and traditions.
