In the vibrant city of Delhi is the newly opened rooftop Mediterranean and Lebanese oasis Wolf. Situated in the heart of Vasant Vihar, we recently visited this culinary gem founded by the visionary Priyank Sukhija, and trust us – it took us on a delightful journey of flavours and experiences!
As we settled into our seats next to the greens and fairy lights , our senses were immediately captivated by the enchanting ambiance and breathtaking views overlooking the happening and buzzing courtyard of PVR Priya. To quench our thirst, we ventured into the realm of their unique mixology crafted by Giuseppe Staci. Our taste buds were introduced to the exotic ‘Mango Sticky Rice’ cocktail, a tantalising blend of Tanqueray, Pandan Leaves, Mango, Vanilla, and Rice Milk. It was a harmonious fusion of Thai flavours that transported us to the streets of Bangkok. Intrigued by the name, we couldn’t resist ordering ‘The Lost Baggage’ cocktail—a blend of Tanqueray, Lychee, Truffle Egg White, and Soda. This delightful concoction was crowned with a fortune cookie and as we sipped on this refreshing elixir, we felt like we had embarked on an adventurous journey, discovering hidden treasures with every sip!
For those seeking non-alcoholic delights, Wolf had a treat in store for us. Their Pineapple & Ginger and Strawberry & Tomato mocktails were a burst of freshness, perfectly balancing sweetness and tanginess to invigorate our palates.
Moving on to the appetisers, we indulged in the decadent Mexican ‘White Massa Nachos’ accompanied by creamy Guacamole, zesty Salsa, and hearty Beans. The crispy nachos, generously topped with flavorful toppings, were a fiesta for our taste buds. Continuing our culinary voyage, we savoured the succulent ‘Chicken Satay’ served with a side of raw papaya dip and salted peanuts. The tender chicken, marinated to perfection, was a delightful fusion of spices and textures.
As we delved into the realm of the main course, our taste buds were tantalised by the ‘Cacitori Chicken’. The slow-braised chicken, bathed in a Pomodro sauce, was served alongside creamy mashed potatoes and a refreshing herby salad. Each bite was a symphony of flavours that left us craving for more. To satisfy our pasta cravings, we ordered their ‘Fettuccine Vegetables Pasta’—which was loaded with cheese and charcoaled vegetables—making it a heavenly blend of comfort and sophistication. The velvety pasta coated our palates, and the smoky flavours of the charcoaled vegetables added a delightful twist.
Our journey at Wolf, Delhi, was a testament to the culinary expertise and passion that Priyank Sukhija had poured into creating this Mediterranean haven. The combination of exquisite cocktails, delectable appetisers, and mouthwatering main courses left us with a sense of fulfilment and a desire to return. If you’re searching for a rooftop experience that will transport you to the Mediterranean, Wolf is the place to be.
