A 17-year-old girl has been identified as the suspect in a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, on December 16, 2024. Authorities report that the suspect opened fire, killing a teen student and a teacher, and injuring six others, including two students with life-threatening injuries. The other injured victims, which include three students and a teacher, have already been released from the hospital.
The suspect, who was reportedly a student at the school, was found dead at the scene, with officials confirming that she died before authorities arrived. The shooting occurred just before 11 a.m. at the K-12 school, which has around 400 students. Police responded within three minutes of receiving a 911 call about an active shooter.
