If Hunter Biden goes to jail, he might end up in a comfy prison in California for a little while. He could do yoga, feel the ocean breeze, and even have his own space for his security team, say legal experts.

On Tuesday, June 11, Hunter was found guilty of lying to get a gun in 2018 because of his drug problem. He could be in jail for up to 25 years, but experts think he won’t get the full sentence, or maybe none at all.

They might send him to a place called Lompoc, a nice spot near the ocean and close to his home. It’s chill there, with an airport nearby, and the food isn’t bad, says Larry, who knows prisons well.

Larry thinks Hunter might spend about 36 months in jail, maybe less if he’s good. Another guy, Lori Loughlin’s husband, was in the same jail for a different crime.

In jail, Hunter could have visitors and make phone calls. He might do simple jobs like cleaning or clerical work and get paid a bit for it.

Because he’s the president’s son, his security team would be with him. He might have his own room, not like the other prisoners.

He might end up in a different jail in Los Angeles or Victorville, not too far from his home.
