WhatsApp launched a new feature, which now allows users to share longer voice messages as status updates.
This new feature has already been introduced on both iPhone and Android versions of the app.
Earlier, users were able to share their voice notes as status updates upto 30 seconds only.
Now, this meta-owned messaging platform, allows users to share their voice notes up to 1 minute.
Thus, offering users, an ease of use to those, who used to split their voices messages to put them as WhatsApp status.
However, the feature will take a couple of days to arrive. If this feature, isn’t there in your device yet, then try updating to latest version of the App.
Arrival Of New Features
Even though the meta-owned messaging adopts a gradual approach towards the unveiling of new features.
Nonetheless, the rumours are still in the air, that another set of features are going to be added in WhatsApp.
According to WhatsApp update tracker WABetaInfo, the platform is recently planning to introduce newer features, to enhance the experience of the users.
One such features are create with AI and chat themes. Where in the former, it will allow users to generate AI-powered profile pictures matching their interests, personalities and moods.
While in the latter, the WhatsApp will let users choose among five preset themes- blue, green (default colour), grey, red, and purple.
By selecting the theme, it will likely change chat’s colour and chat background as well. All through a new picker.
