In an unprecedented session marking the Latin American country’s first congressional event on UFOs, Mexican lawmakers heard testimony that “we are not alone” in the cosmos and observed the claimed remains of non-human people.

Politicians were shown two objects that Mexican writer and long-time UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan said were the bodies of extraterrestrials during a hearing on FANI, the Spanish acronym for what are now commonly known as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) on Tuesday.

According to Maussan, the specimens were unrelated to any life on Earth. The two miniature “bodies,” which are placed in cabinets, have three fingers on each hand and elongated heads.

Maussan stated that they were discovered in 2017 near the historic Nazca Lines in Peru. He said they were around 1,000 years old, based on carbon dating results from Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM).

Similar finds in the past have revealed the remains of mummified children. According to Maussan, this was the first time such evidence had been provided.

“I think there is a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world and that all possibilities are open for any scientific institution… to investigate it,” Maussan said.

“We are not alone,” he further added. The remains had been subjected to X-rays, 3-D reconstruction, and DNA analysis, according to Jose de Jesus Zalce Benitez, Director of the Mexican Navy’s Scientific Institute for Health.

“I can affirm that these bodies have no relation to human beings,” he said. NASA is set to discuss findings from the study on Thursday.
