Wisdom, a female Laysan albatross who was first banded in 1956, is the world's oldest known wild bird.
Wisdom is believed to be at least 68 years old.
She was first identified and banded by biologists in 1956.
The albatross breeds exclusively on Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge, a small island off the northwest coast of Hawaii.
