Semolina Pineapple Halwa: A Classic Indian Dessert
1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup semolina
1 tablespoon ghee
1/4 cup khoya
A few strands of saffron
Ingredients
Heat a non stick Pan and add sugar and water in it then stir the sugar continuously till the sugar dissolves
Cut pineapple into small pieces and add to the pan cook on a low flame
Heat ghee in another non stick Pan add semolina and stir it on medium heat till light golden
Add Almonds and cooked pineapple along with the sugar syrup and mix well cook till semolina is cooked
Add Khoya and Saute for 2 minutes garnish with Almonds and serve
