India’s Historic Moon Landing: Chandrayaan-3 Wins World Space Award

Chandrayaan-3 has made India the first country to land near the lunar South Pole and has won the World Space Award by the International Astronautical Federation

Only the US, Russia, and China have also achieved a soft landing on the moon

The award ceremony will be held on October 14 at the 75th International Astronautical Congress in Milan, Italy, over a year after Chandrayaan-3's landing on August 23, 2023
