Delhi Elections: CM Atishi Files Nomination from Kalkaji

Delhi CM Atishi filed her nomination for the 2025 assembly polls from Kalkaji on January 14, weeks ahead of the election

Atishi, the AAP candidate, filed her nomination at Lajpat Nagar. She is the current MLA from Kalkaji, having won by over 11,000 votes in 2020 against BJP's Dharambir

After filing her nomination, Atishi said, "On Makar Sankranti, I hope to continue receiving the love of Kalkaji’s people as I have in the past"

Atishi missed the January 13 deadline due to a roadshow but filed her papers on January 14. The Delhi Assembly Election is on February 5, with results on February 8
