Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, whose career has spanned over 30 years, continues to captivate audiences worldwide. A recently resurfaced video of the actor has sparked nostalgia, showcasing his thoughts on political integrity, delivered with his trademark wit and charm.

In the video, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asks Shah Rukh a simple yet profound question at an event: “What’s your one piece of advice for politicians?” Initially, Shah Rukh laughs and responds playfully, “Look who you asked!” before making a lighthearted comparison between acting and politics, joking, “My job involves me to ‘lie and deceit’ for a living, so I’m all show.” His humorous comment draws laughter and applause from the audience.

However, SRK quickly shifts gears, offering more serious advice. “I think the only idea should be to work honestly and have pride in your nation,” he says earnestly. He continues, “Love the country, and let’s not take money under the table. Let’s not do shady stuff. If we do things the right way, we’ll all make money, we’ll all be happy, and we’ll become a great and proud nation.” Wrapping up his advice, he adds, “So my advice to all politicians is, be as honest as realistically possible.”
