Ajay Thakore, known as Ace Rogers and CEO of Doctor Multimedia, sparked social media outrage after posting a video of himself purchasing a Rs. 14 lakh Louis Vuitton dog suitcase.
The video shows Thakore at a Louis Vuitton store, humorously stating, “I think my dog has something to pick up,” before revealing the luxury item, the “Bone Trunk,” which is priced at Rs. 14,10,000 on the official LV website. The hard-sided suitcase, designed to resemble a bone, includes a varnished wooden tray with two bowls.

The video, which has garnered over 1.7 million views, led to widespread criticism. Many commenters questioned the ethics of spending such a large sum on a luxury item for a pet, suggesting the money would be better spent on dog shelters. One user commented, “You are what’s wrong with this world. So sad you are so insecure.” Thakore defended himself, responding, “My kid is worth 9 figures and will live off 12 million a year with 100 mil in a trust. How much is your kiddo worth?” He further remarked, “I also employ hundreds of people and donate 8 figures to charity and animal shelters. What exactly do you two do besides waste time on Instagram?”
Other reactions included comments like, “And people are starving in the world… how sad” and “Think about all the good to shelter dogs that 20k could do. I don’t get this at all.” Some users criticized him for what they saw as an insecure display of wealth, calling it a “grotesque illustration of what’s wrong in society.”
Earlier this year, Thakore made headlines for an alleged altercation with a dock worker, during which he reportedly threatened to kill the worker and exposed himself.
