A fan recently hailed Lulu Group chairman MA Yusuff Ali as a “humble billionaire” after he paused his entourage to take a photo with her. Rasa Chandrasekharan Puthuruthy shared the heartwarming moment on Instagram, where the video quickly went viral.

The encounter took place in a shopping complex in Abu Dhabi, where Puthuruthy spotted Yusuff Ali walking with two security guards. She hurried to capture a video with him, and upon noticing her efforts, Yusuff Ali graciously stopped and invited her to take a picture, saying, “Come, take.” The 68-year-old billionaire smiled warmly for a selfie with her and her companion.

Yusuff Ali, chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, oversees 256 hypermarkets and malls across the Gulf and India. According to Forbes, his personal net worth is over $8.9 billion. The Kerala-born billionaire, now based in Abu Dhabi, recently attended his niece’s wedding in India, which was a star-studded event attended by figures like Rajinikanth, former president Ram Nath Kovind, and others.
