Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman and National Award-winning singer Shreya Ghoshal captivated the audience at the Mangal Utsav, the wedding reception of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The event, which took place at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive, saw the duo performing several of their hit songs, including tracks from Mani Ratnam’s 2007 period drama, “Guru,” loosely based on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani, Anant’s late grandfather.

Rahman and Shreya’s Performances

Shreya Ghoshal delivered an electrifying performance of “Barso Re,” an energetic number originally filmed on Aishwarya Rai in “Guru.” AR Rahman joined her on stage and also performed “Tere Bina” from the same film, collaborating with Jonita Gandhi. The original track featured vocals by Chinmayi Sripada.
