Vivo has hinted at the release of its new foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, on the Indian e-commerce platform Flipkart. This device, which was unveiled in China last month, is now preparing for its Indian launch.
Flipkart, owned by Walmart, has set up a special webpage for the upcoming product. Vivo promotes the device as “the best fold ever,” highlighting its collaboration with Zeiss in its design.
The teaser on Flipkart also indicates that the device will boast a lightweight design.
As previously mentioned, Vivo’s new launch is already available in China, and the Indian version is expected to feature similar specifications. The device boasts an ultra-thin display, SGS Gold Label Five-Star Glass Drop Resistance, and UTG super tough glass. Its hinge is constructed from carbon fiber.
The inner screen measures 8.03 inches with a resolution of 2480 x 2200, while the outer screen is 6.53 inches with a resolution of 2748 x 1172. Both are AMOLED LTPO 120Hz displays, capable of supporting 1.07 billion colors, 4,500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and ZREAL technology.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with Adreno 750 graphics, offering up to 1TB UFS4.0 storage and up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. It operates on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 and features stereo speakers along with wireless lossless Hi-Fi audio.
In China, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro starts at 9,999 yuan (approximately Rs 1,17,000). It is expected that the pricing in India will be similar.
