Addressing a programme at Aanchal Vihar Nalagarh Road Pinjore, Pinjore Ward No. 21, on Tuesday, Virendra Rana, the BJP District General Secretary, emphasised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to a developed India. Rana stressed that fulfilling this pledge requires a collective effort to ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach every individual.
As the chief guest at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jan Samvad event, Rana outlined the significance of the ongoing initiative. Under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, various government departments are actively setting up stalls in every village to inform residents about both Central and State Government schemes. The objective is to maximize participation and enable more people to take advantage of these schemes.
During the event, Rana personally visited the stalls set up by different departments, gathering information from beneficiaries about the benefits they are receiving under various government schemes. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that no economically disadvantaged individual is denied medical treatment due to financial constraints. Rana highlighted the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat/Chirayu Scheme, offering free medical facilities up to Rs 5 lakh annually to eligible beneficiaries in both government and private hospitals.
Additionally, Rana spoke about the ‘Nirogi Haryana Yojana,’ a scheme aimed at maintaining public health. The objective is to conduct a comprehensive health checkup for the entire population of the state at least once every two years. He also mentioned the efforts made to provide pension at home by linking social security pension schemes to family identity cards.
During the event, Rana distributed certificates to beneficiaries of various schemes, including old-age pension, BPL cards, family identity cards, and the Ujjwala scheme. He administered the oath of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jan Samvad to attendees and recognized children participating in the cultural programme by presenting them with citations.
The programme featured a recorded speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi played through LED. The event saw the presence of notable figures such as Municipal Council Chairman Krishna Lal Lamba, District Youth President Achar Pal, Navrata Ram, Harish Monga, and other dignitaries.
