“We going to have to ask you to go, my n****.” With those words, rapper and media personality Cam'ron abruptly ended a painfully awkward interview with boxing star Adrien Broner on Tuesday. The incident, which has since gone viral, culminated in Broner being dismissed from the popular "It Is What It Is" show for making persistent and inappropriate remarks towards co-host Treasure "Stat Baby" Wilson.
Shortly after taking his seat on the set, Broner began directing a stream of unsolicited comments at Wilson. He raved incessantly about her appearance, declaring at one point, “I love you.” Despite attempts to steer the conversation elsewhere, Broner persisted, telling Wilson, “You're amazing,” and adding, “I did not know you looked that good in person.” The comments created an immediately uncomfortable atmosphere on the live show.
At first, the show's host, Cam'ron, attempted to defuse the situation by telling Broner to calm down. This intervention was particularly notable given that Wilson's boyfriend was present in the studio at the time. When Broner continued to "violate," Cam'ron took decisive action. He terminated the interview, politely but firmly asking the boxer to leave. In a move that underscored the seriousness of the breach of conduct, Cam'ron then compensated Broner for his time before ushering him out.
As Broner exited the studio, Cam'ron explained his actions on air, stating, “I asked you the first time. I don't have no problems with you, but I'ma pay you for your time. But, you can't violate bro.” The show then continued without further incident. The official Instagram account for "It Is What It Is" later shared a clip of the event with a caption that made the show's position clear: “SEE THIS JUST WHY WE DON’T JUST LET ANYBODY COME ON OUR SHOW 🤦🏾♂️ THIS 🥷🏽 #AB WAS OUTTA POCKET, SO #KILLA POLITELY TOLD THIS 🥷🏽 TO EXIT THE BUILDING 🤬.”
As of now, Adrien Broner has not issued any public statement or apology regarding the incident.Since his unexpected defeat to Blair Cobbs in June 2024, the former multi-division world champion has not competed in boxing; this viral moment is his most recent public appearance.

Cam'ron has recently found himself at the center of several public dramas, though typically not originating from his own show. Prior to the Broner incident, he was engaged in a social media sparring match with Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Dame Dash, who made jokes about Cam'ron and 50 Cent collaborating on a Paid In Full sequel. The swift handling of the Broner situation demonstrates the show's low tolerance for disrespectful behavior towards its team.
