This amazing work of art, made from over 10 kilograms of pure gold, has been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's heaviest gold dress. Let us find out what makes this one so unique  and just how many hands were involved in creating it.

A Record-Breaking Gold Masterpiece

The dress was designed and made by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery, a world-famous Saudi Arabian brand. Deservedly called the 'Dubai Dress', it was showcased at the Sharjah Watch and Jewellery Expo, where it stole the show with its sheer extravagance and artistry.

Constructed from 21-carat gold, the dress is a whopping 10.0812 kilograms in weight. Its worth? A staggering AED 4.6 million (approximately Rs 11 crore).

What Makes The Dubai Dress Unique?

As per Al Romaizan Gold, the Dubai Dress consists of four large components:

A 398-gram gold tiara
A 8,810.60-gram statement necklace
134.1-gram earrings
A 738.5-gram gold piece
Every piece has exquisite carvings and is decorated with rich precious stones, rendering it as much an homage to craftsmanship as it is an exhibition of luxury. The work is crafted to convey the narrative of Emirati heritage through the vehicle of gold and high jewellery.

The designers drew inspiration from genuine Emirati traditions, merging historical symbolism with a contemporary look.

According to Mohsin Al Dhaibani, Regional Deputy Manager at Al Romaizan Gold, the creation reflects the UAE’s vision of global excellence and further cements Dubai’s status as a global hub for gold and jewellery.
