Witness 25 Lakhs Diyas And Breathtaking Tableaus Celebrate Ram Mandir’s | WATCH

Ayodhya, the revered temple town, is prepared to host an extraordinary Deepotsav celebration on Wednesday, aiming to set a world record by lighting more than 5 million diyas. This year’s Diwali holds special significance as it marks the first festival celebrated at the newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The Uttar Pradesh government has announced plans to illuminate the city with 2.5 million diyas along the Saryu riverbanks and 2.5 million more across Ayodhya. Special eco-friendly lamps will also light up the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

Festivities and Cultural Performances

The Deepotsav celebration will begin on Wednesday morning, featuring a blend of spiritual and cultural events. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with Union Tourism-Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and other state ministers, will be present for the festivities. The event will kick off as volunteers begin filling the diyas with oil and wicks. A grand procession starting from Saket Mahavidyalaya will display 18 tableaux, depicting scenes from the Ramayana, alongside performances by artists from Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Indonesia.

Adding to the celebration, various artists will showcase traditional Indian folk dances, and the event will culminate with an impressive fireworks display and rangoli.

Drone Show, Security Arrangements, and Record Attempt

As night descends, 2.5 million diyas will light up 55 ghats along the Saryu, including a Swastika formation with 80,000 diyas as the centerpiece. A Guinness World Records team will use drones to verify the diya count, with results expected by evening. Additionally, a drone show will feature 500 drones displaying visuals of Lord Ram and Hanuman, enhanced by laser displays and music.

Security measures have been heightened, with restricted access to Ram Ki Paidi, and over 200 commandos from the ATS, STF, and CRPF ensuring safety at the Ram Temple and surrounding areas.
