The American animated TV series The Simpsons is trending once more for one of its alleged prediction, this time regarding the death of a U.S. President. A viral video circulating on Instagram features a figure that appears remarkably similar to current U.S. President Donald Trump, leaving people curious and arguing online.
The video begins with a ominous message: “The President is set to die in August 2025 following a serious chest illness.”
A Clip That Stunned Social Media
As the clip goes, a voiceover describes that The Simpsons once broadcast an episode more than 15 years ago that appeared to predict a ‘Presidential Death’. The narrator refers to it as ‘one of the show’s darkest prophecies’ and describes the events of the episode.
As narrated by the voice, a president whose ‘bright orange skin, golden hair and volatile temper’are mentioned walks into the White House. He suddenly grasps his chest in agony and falls on live TV. Pandemonium ensues, and a medic is heard muttering, “This wasn’t just stress, this was a sign.”
The video then relates this imaginary scene to real-world incidents, stating that Donald Trump has just been diagnosed with a heart condition. It even states that the very episode is no longer available on streaming sites due to its accuracy.

The condition is ‘benign and common in individuals over 70’, Dr. Sean P. Barbabella, a physician at the White House, said. He spoke to concerns over swelling in the President’s legs and bruising on his hands, saying full health checks, including heart scans and blood work, revealed no serious problems.
According to The New York Times, the doctor stated that President Trump ‘remains in excellent health’.
Mixed Reactions From the Internet
The video was met with forceful responses online. One of the viewers wrote, “Didn’t they also forecast his death in April? Like April 12th or something.” Another said, “Now this is how you make America great again.”
Not everyone thought it was amusing. One of the viewers said, “Wow! So many of you wishing death on our President is proof that humanity is doomed. Zero respect or basic human decency anymore.”
