As wedding season approaches, one groom’s unique wedding invitation has captured widespread attention online. Manoj Kumar, an Instagram user (@manoj_rationalist), shared a video of his laptop-themed wedding card, which quickly went viral. The wedding took place on September 16 in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu.
The invitation, resembling an Apple MacBook Pro, has left many netizens in awe. From the top, it looks just like a real MacBook, complete with buttons to open it. The inside features a screen with a Google icon, displaying the wedding details as a Google search. The card is even packaged to resemble a brand-new laptop.
Since being posted, the video has garnered over 6.8 million views, with users leaving a variety of comments. Some were fascinated by the card’s innovative design, while others asked about its price. One commenter humorously remarked that “this is what happens when a social media marketer gets married.”
However, not everyone was pleased with the modern twist. Some criticized the card for deviating from tradition, pointing out that traditional Indian wedding invitations often feature images of deities, which were absent in this design.
