Watch: US Customer Slaps Taco Bell Employee Over Microwave Mishap, Video Goes Viral

The unidentified man entered the establishment, visibly upset, after his attempt to heat a meal in an aluminum-lined container resulted in the microwave malfunctioning.

In the video shared on social media, the disgruntled customer is seen expressing his frustration, accusing the staff of causing damage to his microwave. He angrily demands more food and threatens legal action against the restaurant. As tensions escalate, the customer accuses the employee of smiling at him, leading to a sudden and shocking slap across the employee’s face.

A woman, possibly a manager, intervenes in the situation, questioning the customer’s behavior and attempting to defuse the confrontation. The customer continues to berate the employee, hurling abuses amid the chaotic scene. A separate video shows a police officer addressing the situation, though it remains unclear whether any charges were filed against the irate customer.

Social media reactions poured in, with many expressing support for the employee and condemning the customer’s actions. One commenter emphasized the employee’s remarkable restraint, stating, “Nobody has the right to lay hands on another. Dude showed incredible restraint.”

Criticism towards the customer’s lack of understanding about microwave safety also emerged online. One person remarked, “He gets mad at the employee because he blew up his microwave because he skipped 8th-grade science & put aluminum in the microwave.”

Amid calls for accountability, another comment highlighted the need for the employee to seek justice, stating, “Sir learn how a microwave works. You can pay for your own microwave and pay for this lawyer when I sue. I hope the employee got his a** for assault.”
