Watch: Prince William Spotted Riding Electric Scooter Into Windsor Castle

Prince William, 42, was seen entering Windsor Castle on an electric scooter, as captured in a viral TikTok video released this Thursday.

The footage shows the future king of England in a blue pullover and black trousers, sporting sunglasses as he rides into the castle. The exact date of the video is unknown, though social media users speculated it was filmed on July 4 this year.

This appears to be the first instance of Prince William being seen on an electric scooter, following a report in The Sun last year that claimed he had purchased one to visit the king.

“It just makes sense. He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King,” a source informed The Sun at the time.

“It’s a two or three-mile round trip from his family home at ­Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle so it’s easier by scooter than car or walking,” the source added.

Adelaide Cottage, the main residence of Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton, and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – is located within Windsor Home Park. This 655-acre estate is part of the private grounds of Windsor Castle. Built in 1831, the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage became the home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2022 after they relocated from Kensington Palace.
