A video has emerged from Jaipur showing a lab attendant performing an ECG on a patient at Jodhpur’s Satellite Hospital after following a YouTube tutorial. The widely circulated footage has prompted the hospital administration to investigate the situation.
In the video, concerned family members express their objections, fearing the risks posed by the attendant’s lack of formal training. “Conducting the scan without proper knowledge could kill him,” one family member cautioned. The attendant, however, explained that he had no choice due to a staffing shortage, as the lab technician had gone on a Diwali holiday. “Everything has been installed in the right place, and the machine will do the required work,” he reassured them.
