Was ‘BeerBiceps’ Hacking For PR? Ranveer Allahbadia Responds To Allegations

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, had his channels swiftly restored after a hacking incident. The National Creators Awards winner has since shared his experience and responded to allegations suggesting the event was merely a publicity stunt.

In a video he posted, he expressed his gratitude, stating, “Dhanyavad Bharat.” He thanked both the international and Indian YouTube teams for their prompt support and assistance in resolving the issue. Allahbadia acknowledged the hard work of his 80-member team in producing his podcasts and appreciated the fans who supported him during this trying time.

Was it a PR stunt?

Allahbadia firmly denied the claims that the incident was a publicity stunt, asserting that his work is his passion and he would never trivialize it.

While in Singapore when he discovered the hacking, his initial reaction was one of fear, worrying that a decade’s worth of effort had been jeopardized. However, he found motivation in the words of MS Dhoni, who once said that responding thoughtfully is better than simply reacting. This wisdom helped him calm his initial panic and consider rational solutions.

Ranveer Allahbadia’s Plan B:

He revealed his contingency plan if his channels had not been reinstated. Allahbadia explained that he had established three businesses a few years prior. After learning about the hacking, he decided that if his channels remained inaccessible, he would focus more on one of those businesses.

Fans expressed their support on social media, with one user commenting, “MS Dhoni’s words always proved to be an inspiration for many people just like Ranveer Allahbadia.” Another added, “I was worried when I couldn’t find your videos yesterday, but I’m relieved now. Keep it up, brother. We love you so much, Ranveer!”

BeerBiceps’ Initial Reaction To The Hacking:

“Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favorite food. Vegan burgers. Death of BeerBiceps met with Death of diet,” he humorously posted after the incident. In another Instagram story, he wrote, “Is this the end of my YouTube career? Was nice knowing you all.”
