Fans are eagerly waiting to see Virat Kohli back in Indian colours, and the cricket icon has now gone viral for his fresh look. Recently spotted in London, Kohli was seen wearing a dark grey zip-up hoodie over a light grey T-shirt, paired with dark blue joggers. But it was the colour of his beard that caught everyone’s attention.

Indian-origin entrepreneur Shassh, who shared a picture with the former captain, captioned it: 'Don't need caption...with The King Kohli'.

Kohli Admits to Dyeing His Beard

The viral moment arrived after Kohli mentioned that he dyes his beard at Yuvraj Singh's fundraiser event in London.

"I just coloured my beard two days back...when you start doing that after every four days, it is time," Kohli joked, giving fans a candid glimpse into his grooming routine.

Kohli played during the Champions Trophy for India as his last. Since then, he retired from the test Cricket and T20Is. However, he remains active in ODIs.

Delay in His Expected Return

Kohli's return is expected to be at India's home series against Bangladesh. It was initially scheduled to be held in August, but now BBCI has postponed it to September 2026. BCCI cited that the shift is due to the 'international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams'.

This delay means fans might not see Kohli and Rohit back in action until at least the third week of October, unless a new series is announced.

Eyes on Australia Tour

There were reports that Sri Lanka had offered India a T20I and ODI series in August. However, according to media sources, the proposal was declined as players were granted a complete rest period following an intense two-month Test series, where all five matches went the full five days.

India will next tour Australia in October for three ODIs and five T20Is, a series that could now mark Kohli’s much-awaited return to the field.
