In a shocking incident in Ahmedabad’s Krishnanagar area, a thief dressed as a woman executed a daring robbery in broad daylight, escaping with silver Jewellery valued at over ₹23 lakh. The robber, whose face was concealed by a veil, targeted an employee of a local jewelry store who was waiting with a bag full of precious items on his scooter. In a swift move, the thief snatched the bag, containing 28 kg of jewelry, and fled the scene on a scooter driven by an accomplice.

CCTV Footage Captures the Heist

The brazen act, which took place on Wednesday, was recorded by a nearby CCTV camera, revealing the robber approaching the parked scooter and making off with the valuable bag in mere seconds. Despite the employee’s attempts to pursue the culprits, they managed to escape unharmed. A complaint has been lodged with local police, with the Jewellery store owner, Vikesh Shah, confirming that the stolen items included silver anklets and earrings.
